This week in our room.....
Aug. 5-7: This week will be a transition week for the students. We will be working on learning classroom procedures. Students will be getting to know the classroom, the materials, and their friends. The activities this week will be geared toward basic skills so I can get to know your child better. This will be a great time for everyone to get acclimated to being in our class.
Aug 10-14: This week we are studying classroom toys. We will be reading a book with pictures of our own classroom toys. We will be exploring the toys in our room and how to appropriately play with them.
Aug 17-21: This week we are discussing classroom materials. We are working on what these are and how we use them. We will be doing several art activities using these materials as we discuss their use. We will be making fruit cockatil on Monday. Our two books this week are "Mouse's First day of School" and " I Love School." These books talk about all the different items and areas of the classroom.
